Men! snort, bah, argh.. and similar noises

Dad and mom were scheduled to fly to Denver tomorrow, see old friends, go to an event, etc.
Dad had apparently (unknown to me) been having some tooth/jaw aches, which he put down to the sinus infection that he had been being treated for.

it got worse, mom scheduled an emergency appt (11 am) with the dentist, who said "the tooth here is cracked down ( Read more... )

Yep, I agree, it is all men...or at least it has been that way with all the men in my life: father cousins friends significant others...

and...when the men around me are "sick" they *ALL* revert to age five..

All men, h*ll, that could be MY Father, to a "T"... Dad was feeling abit under the weather, and sitting in his armchair, when Mom looks over and says "Honey, You've turned YELLOW! Seriously!"

I found out about it when Mom called me several hours later to say Dad had come through emergency Gall Bladder removal surgery beautifully and they should be home in a couple of days... O_O

Sounds like me, actually...and I'm a girl. Apparently I had gall bladder issues for yeeeaaars before I did anything about it. Yeah, there was pain. But I usually chalked it up to more ulcer issues and indulged in self-hypnosis until the pain went away.

I'm an idiot.
