Illumination babbles
as some of you may know i am an amateur Illuminator... that is i am trying to get good enough to do work on scrolls for the SCA. so like any good nerd i own lots of books on the subject...
well i just got a new one in!
at the Kingdom A&S event (see back maybe two or three posts) i saw a copy of the book "the Hours of Jeanne D'Evreux" which is a tiny little book.. and someone was copying the one page for their A&S exhibit...
so i got online and ordered a used copy.. which has arrived already! way cool!
the scary thing is the tiny little book (3x5 card sized) is showing images that are LARGER than the original. the original book pages (they show one actual size) were more like business card sized.....
PS.. whatever i have? wayne caught it
