Warming 'very likely' human-made

The above title on the bbc news website made me just want to scream and scream and scream: No Shite!

Contrary to what our governments and the politicians would have us believe, I think the majority of us out here pretty much figure we are all to blame. Our 'advancements' in technology and transport have created so many toxins - climate killers. As ignorant as the human race can be, I would like to believe and hope most of us get this concept.

On similarish news, or at least somewhat environmental related topic, a few other stories of interest:

Morrison poem backs climate plea
Woman in the Window, a previously unreleased poem written and recorded by The Doors frontman shortly before he died in 1971, has been set to music.

(for charity fund raising)
_______________
I will have to look this up and read the words to see why they chose it, I am curious. Morrison had some brilliant poetry, he was either a pure genius or just completly crazy, either way, I have always enjoyed his poetry as much if not more then his music. And even though you are creating pollution in the making of said cd's, I guess if the money goes for the cause and not the admin, well, that is a good thing? *cynic, raised eyebrow*

France 'dims' for climate protest
The lights of Paris dimmed for five minutes on Thursday in a nationwide "lights out" campaign, aimed at raising public awareness over global warming.

The Eiffel Tower, lit by 20,000 bulbs, also went dark at 1955 (1855 GMT).
______________
Oh, and a novel idea, how about having the lights on the eiffle tower off except for special events and holidays, and of course the safety light on top to warn flying objects. I am do think we can all do loads of little things to make a difference, I am trying, slowly changing my wasteful habits.
