I live in Metropolitan Sydney.
I know what some of you who haven't been to Australia might think of our little country - desert, desert, bushland, outback, stereotype, stereotype, snakes, spiders, hopefully you think about awesome beaches.
I live in a city with big buildings, I live in the middle of somewhere, not the middle of nowhere. I've only ever seen snakes at snake shows and animal parks, I'm not too bothered by spiders - I see a big one probably every six months (only seen the deadly ones in wildlife parks), I live nowhere near the bush, so I don't get affected by bushfires and I've never seen a desert in my life.
So when a big dust storm hits, even though I live in Australia and you'd think I've seen it before, I really haven't.
It was pretty awesome - though made it a little hard to breathe and made everything dirty.
So, to see the absolute coolness that was the Sydney sky this morning, check
this out.
