Geez, England is dark (and cold, but that was a given).
I woke up at 11am today and it was already looking like 6pm in Australia.
I've been to England 4 times: was born here, came at Christmas when I was 4 and came in September when I was 19. This is some new experience for me. I think it's cool that the sights out the car window in England in the winter are akin to the sights out the car window in Australia in the summer - all that brown from trees losing leaves :P
Hedges are also funny during the winter.
I really need to go out walking and take tons of pictures with my new camera and then put them on facebook.
I went outside today after getting here yesterday at midday and sleeping for about 14 hours. I put a blanket around me over my jacket and went out into the backyard. I went to the fish pond and took off the blanket - then put it back on quickly. I came back inside when my bare feet started to freeze. It's all very amusing to me.
I think I like England better during the autumn, but this is fun too.
