If you're blacking out the friction, the hardest part is yet to come

Something I've been needing to express as of late:

Even if you don't create drama, by choosing to surround yourself with such people, you're just as guilty as they are.

On that note, Krista is really worrying me. She has completely changed all of her morals and values for these people, who, by the way, she has only known for about a month. And I feel bad for her because they all talk badly about her behind her back! Whenever someone tells her this, she can't just take it; no, she has to go confront these people and they lie to her face. I mean, these people aren't utterly horrible but they also aren't good friends. They are taking advantage of the fact that she's so nice and naive and she has noooo idea.

Also, she acts really stupid around these people. Now, Krista isn't super-intelligent or anything but she's definitely not stupid and yet, the only things she talks about nowadays are the boys and whatever drama is happening with the girls. I could not care less. It's like all the bad things from high school we were trying to escape migrated over with these people.

I guess I just miss the old Krista.
