Why do people on the end of the line at credit card companies talk to you like they are doing you a favor?

So, Part 1 did not totally succeed - the new card I was offered had a measly limit of $400.  Excuse me?  It was obvious from my application that I was looking to transfer money ( Read more... )

It is REALLY hard to get out of the thumb of those creditors and credit cards once they have their hooks in you. It took me quite a while to get rid of ALL of my debt minus my student loans and car payments and I pretty much had to do exactly what you are doing now. It is far to easy to just pull out that credit card when you are a little short on cash and use it just a little bit here and a little bit there until the amount owed balloons. Part of the other way I had to do this was to just get rid of my credit cards completely ( ... )
