As per every summer for the last three years, I'm doing a week at my mum's work. It's an easy job as Receptionist with very good money which should tide me over until I can find a more permanent fixture for the summer. Right so I've returned from uni, full of hope for the summer. Instead, I come home to find that someone was stabbed a couple of weeks ago about a minute from where I live. I've started to notice that I don't do walks like a normal person. Here is a list of things that can (and usually do) happen when I'm walking somewhere.

• I'll start skipping
• I jump onto the curb
• I use the side of the street as a balance beam and proceed to be a gymnast
• I'll sing
• I'll dance
