2012/12/23 From Macao
How are you all?
Now, the time for update has come.
I, GACKT, am in Macao now for the annual fan club trip .
I took a photo with each of my fans , and tonight we had dinner together while watching an event.
Ahahahaha, today's 24th.
So, let me start over.
Due to the sizes of the photos, I'm putting everything under a cut from here.
I really shouldn't have translated this since I'm buried in work, but decided to do it now since I may never get to it if I don't do it now.
So please don't ask me to copy the original text. If I have time later, i will.
As for the videos, I'm having trouble watching them (clicking on it won't work), let alone posting them here.
If anybody decides to upload them to YT and leave the URLs in a comment, I can include them in the post.
Thanks to @ZeroRRII on Twitter, we now have videos included. YAY!!

Now, the time for update has come.
I, GACKT, am in Macao now for the annual fan club trip .

The transmission speed is slow, so uploading takes time.
Sorry about that.
As I was saying, during the photograph session, several fans said to me,
"Please update LINE...."
Well, it's a bit sudden, but I've promised to update whenever I'm asked to,
so that's why I'm here making an update from the land of Macao, away from Japan.
It's been a while since I was here in Macao last.
The climate of Macao is excellent this time of year.
The view from the hotel is quite excellent, too.
It shows completely different faces during day and night, but I'm drawn to both. They're powerful.
During this trip, my assistant kept the water in the bathtub running in order to increase the humidity of the room I'm staying in.
After a while, we noticed that the floor was immersed underwater.
Ahahaha.
My bed's floating in water.
The assistant was frantic in the room,
but I thought
"Nothing new here, really...."
and I just photographed it,
although you can't make it out very well.
Talk about my staff....
They are really hilarious.
To commemorate a staff member's recent marriage, Rocky the stylist revealed his secret art of "Shimura Eats".
It's this guy, by the way.
Well, please enjoy "Shimura Eats".
............The uploading is taking a while here.

By the way, it's Macau, not Macao. Sorry much.
To change the subject.
We were here on December 21, which is the anniversary of the return of Macau to China back in....was it 1999?
Most of the stores in the city of Macau are closed on this day, but I heard that people who must work on this day get paid triple.
That's interesting, isn't it.
Japan should follow suit.
If we are more gunho about not working on holidays,
our holidays will be more valuable.
After the photo sessions, we headed for the local rehearsal studio.
On the way there, we encountered fireworks.

(He's talking about how beautiful the fireworks are, and how lucky the fans of this trip are because of it.)
The fireworks in this season conjure up deep emotions in me.
If I had time, I would've watched them much closer.
As I let my heart dance at the beautiful out-of-season fireworks,
we arrived at the studio in the old city.
The members rehearsed from noon to midnight on this day for the Yasokai live.
By the time I got there, they were all exhausted.
The members had been all energetic on the ship,
but this long rehearsal tired them out.
During the day, I go shopping or have a tea in-between jobs,
and my favorite spot for having a tea is at the Vienna Hotel.
I like spacing out here, thinking
"I wish this were my own garden..."
The entrance of the Vienna Hotel has a pretty fountain, too,
so maybe you should check it out sometime.
Strolling the city lets you discover many interesting things.
When I go eat Thai food, I walk through this Fisherman's Wharf to get to the restaurant.
It has a nice atmosphere but not too many people in it, so I often take a walk here.
There are some stalls out now for Christmas, too.

The year 2012 will come to an end soon, won't it?
Did you know?
Although there are various theories, it's said that December 23, 2012 was the last day in the Mayan calendar.
There were many negative-thinking people who said it'd be the last day of humanity,
but in my opinion, it just means that the new world starts today.
It means that we all have to reset ourselves and challenge new things in the future.
Move forward with a fresh mindset.
Let's appreciate the fact that we can spend such a special Christmas.
I decided to reset my things, one by one, and to start them over.
One of such things is my email address that I've used for nearly 20 years and is known by my fans around the world.
GACKT.CAMUI@nifty.com
I will stop using it at the end of this year.
In the past 20 years, I've received a staggering amount of emails from all over the world,
but the amount of spams has increased quiet a bit, too,
and I also want to get a fresh start.
I'll leave the new email address in the bromaga or other places inconspicuously,
so if you find it, you can send me a message by using that.
Well, I'll leave for Yasokai now...
I will touch the hearts of the fans in this acoustic live.
Bye now.
MERRY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

I forgot to say.
Have you listened to my new song, WHITE LOVERS?
It's a really moving song, so use this song this winter to build your memory.
Bye now.
From Macau with love,
