Belated Merry Christmas

Dec 26, 2012 03:13

Hahahaha, it's so me, isn't it? Here I am, making a Merry Christmas post AFTER the very day.

Well, I have been and will be working all Christmas, and I wasn't going to make this post, either.
But I just want to make a very short post.

Thanks for all the comments you guys leave/left for me.
Sometimes I'm just too busy to respond to every one of them, but I read and appreciate them all.
And I'm sorry I couldn't say Merry Christmas back to each of you in time.

But most of all, I just wanted to say Thank You for simply being there,
and help me feel not so alone even through some rough times.
You don't know how many times you guys just being there, here and on Twitter, has helped me get through the day,
put smiles on my face instead of a frown.
I could keep saying a whole lot more,
but I'll stop here.
Talk can be cheap.

Anyway, I appreciate you, Dears. From the bottom of my heart.

But I also wanted to apologize to some of my friends whom I should be sending holiday cards out.
In addition to being buried in work, I also haven't been in a very festive mood as of late,
and I may not send out cards this year.

On a totally, or mostly, separate note.
I just got back from watching Les Miserables.
I wasn't sure if the movie theater would be pretty vacant or packed on Christmas day.
Luckily, the ticket line wasn't too long, and it was my turn to get the ticket for 10PM.
SOLD OUT.
Huh??? Did you just say it's sold out, Mr. ticket person?
//////orz//////
Got a ticket for 10:30PM instead. Had to wait in line to get into the cinema for 20 min with the heavy cold drink and popcorn in my hands.
And since it was also very full, I had to sit right next to people with no empty chairs (= buffers) in-between.
If there's anything in the world I hate, and I try not to use the word 'hate' very much at all,
it's people who keep chatting and giggling during the movies when there are people around them.
I just think that's utterly inconsiderate (unless you live in a culture where that's the norm).
I almost felt like resorting to violence..... ALMOST.

Anyway, no spoilers. But I did enjoy it despite the chatters around me.
Hathaway took my breath away. She was beyond amazing.
And Jackman, what can this man not do?

Oh, one more thing!
I got a ticket to the Sendai live of GACKT's Best of the Best Tour.
I'll be going with my dear Singaporean sister, satosuki. We got a help from our mutual dear friend, whose name I won't mention here just in case she doesn't want it to be revealed. ^^
Needless to say, this was the best Christmas present EVER.
We are SO excited already.
My very first GACKT live....

OK, this was a very short post like I promised, wasn't it? Hahahaha sorry
Now, I must finish this document due in the morning.....  b;w;d

movie, xmas
