My New Favorite Things...

I think some of you know that I can't live without ProactivSolution products. (They just work for me, and I've been using their products for 10+ years.)
So, I'm not gonna replace their basic skin care system (face wash, toner, lotion) with anything, BUT.
My awesome sister-in-law, who has a knack for finding new and interesting things, introduced me ( Read more... )

I've been wondering what you use on your skin! *pets your soft skin again* Mine is terrible and blemishy and just icky >.<...

OH! I so want to watch Valkyrie. I'm surprised at myself for not doing so yet, seeing as how that is one period in history I'm interested in. I've been to the Holocaust museum in D.C...that was very moving and disturbing...Is Valkyrie about the asssasination attempt that involved a briefcase placed under an oak table? I can't remember...

Yay for mag! XD With G no less!

"*pets your soft skin again*"

ROFLOL This cracks me up for some reason.
Oh, we share a secret, don't we? =w=
My skin never got compliments before ProactivSolution, though. It just keeps my skin healthy and smooth. @_@

Yes, yes, exactly!! Briefcase under a table (I didn't know it was oak XD).
Valkyrie, the movie, was also very moving and disturbing. If you're interested in that period, by all means, watch it! ^^d
(And see my dream man in action.... *sighs*)

XD...It's..kinda creepy too LOL...

Yes, yes we do!!!! XD And it's going to sound strange, but I remember when we met, and I showed you my booboos from the river, you laying your hands on some of them actually was quite soothing <3. I never told you that, but it made me happy that we were so comfortable with each other even then that you could do that and soothe me ^_^. I'm getting kinda teary thinking about it too XD.

You should advertise Proactive for them, cuz you sound like an advert here XD LOL.

Ah, yes, that was, I think, the best known attempt, but I could have the wood of the table wrong XD. I think Hitler was a brilliant man. It's just a shame he didn't use that brilliance for something good instead of evil...I think we actually have the movie though, so that will be on my to watch list ^_^.

I need hugs now...talking about all this makes me teary too. I also learned something about US history during that time that I didn't know either, and actually, it was shocking.

Oh really??? Cool! :D
Didn't know I had a soothing touch!! XD
(I should make a living as a 'healer'. :P)
Ahaha, that was an action-packed day, wasn't it?
I still blame my laptop for not playing DVDs!! (but it worked fine after that... =_______=)

IKR, they need to pay me. Srsly. *nods*

Yeah, I agree that he was a very intelligent and charismatic guy who used his gifts for all the evil causes. Can you imagine someone with a heart so void of light as his?

Ah... pretty much all countries, especially developed countries, have some past they're not proud of. I think it's important to learn from them, so we'll never repeat them. Although history keeps repeating itself, doesn't it? Over and over and over again.

"But I had no idea that there were actually such organized plans within Germany to take out Hitler, or that such accounts were even known."
There were several plans to take out Hitler, that was one of the ones that came the closest to taking him out... Though the aftermath of the attempt is quite... saddening/upsetting/can't think of the word right now... =/

OMG!!! I LOVE THAT MAN!!!
He is an amazing actor, and you're right most of the character I've seen him portray are highly complex.
Are you by any chance talking about Grimm Love??

Yeah, I kept wondering how close the movie was to the actual historical facts... @_@
Indeed, the aftermath was, gosh... You're right, I can't find the right words, either...

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY ANOTHER FAN HERE~~!!!

It's pretty close, though like every other movie based on a true story it still has differences.

Oooooh, a psychological horror is indeed worse than just blood-and-gore horrors.... @_@;;;
I don't know who Armin Meiwes is, but I guess he was a serial killer.... *shivers*

OMG~~~~~!!!! That's it~~~~~!!!!! *_______*
That's the movie!
I only saw it once, one late night many years ago. And yet I still remember it decently well...
Is it because it was actually a decent movie??? XD
I just remember it being a very surreal, strange movie, and yet it stayed with me (partially thanks to the lovely killer :P).
I still clearly remember the scene where they show one of the victim getting shot in her face, and the camera looks through her head.........................
But yeah, that was the first time I laid eyes on him. ^w^
(Thanks for finding out the movie, I was starting to go nuts with the mystery XD)

There was a time... when Xia dedicated an awful lot of time for make-up and skin care and cosmetics and clothes... and shoes... Somehow I've always find Clinique intresting, and I've wanted to try out Chi-hair-products, but in the end I shrugged and decided against it.
My mom has lots and lots of Make-up stuff from Chanel and Lancôme, a few Dior eyeshadows and all those things never get used. Neither by her nor me. XD
I don't wear make-up at all right now, not even powder or concealer XD....
But I am always interested in hair products. I love my long, black, satiny hair. ♥
It's had it better days, too, though. .__.

Oh mommy... unno, I remember a conversation that we had in g-says and it was about WWII ( ... )

I just use Clinique in cosmetics because I made too much allergies! *sighs*
I made an allergy at a lipstick of Channel because of the perfumes into it!!!
I hope your new products are good too!^^

oO Interesting movie!!!
I watched it too. The facts are not too far of the reality for what I read of the reviews about it.
Anyway, all true or not, this movie is great and painful.

Kyaaaaaaaaa~~ you're killing me! Nobody shared the 2 awesome picts of this issue! I only saw the preview!!! *cry*
Lucky of you!^^
G is too cute with his black kimono! 1 of the picts is a full pict of his head, isn't it too photoshoped as usual?

My skin's pretty sensitive, too~.
Oh, I can't wear any lipstick with perfume in it, either, but not because of any allergy but because I. just. can't. stand. the. taste. *vomits* :P

Yes, it was very good and suspenseful, and also painful....
When one knows what went on in those years in Germany, it's not easy to watch anything related to that without a lot of complicated emotions.

Oh, nobody's scanned the pics yet? @_@ Really? Not even in jrock_scans? (or is that even an incorrect name? XD)
Oh, yes, yes, unfortunately WAY too photoshopped. =___=

oO I C!
I can support some lipstick with perfumes but only a few.All the lipstick of Chanel, Givenchy and co., I have only some without perfumes. Some perfumes are as you said with a bad taste! LOL

Yeah it's true. In Europe, movies about the subject are very hard to watch.
When I watch one, I can't forget the tears of my teacher (some of his family are dead in Germany)when I was in the college and when we went to meet in Drancy some of the last persons who were in Auschwitz the last day. I still feel bad to remember this moment and image of those persons with a number writing in their wrist always make me cry.
I think that I avoid to look this kind of movie not because I'm afraid or that I try to forget but more because the burden of this kind of movie is too heavy again today for me.

No! Nobody!! I didn't see it anywhere! I only saw a preview in an ameblo.
Those picts:

Wow, nice pics ^^ Never saw any of them T_T Thanks for the previews, sakura_liz!

ValVal, some pretty photos if not scans, please?.. I totally can't justify getting this mag for a few Gackt pages now, but pics seem to be lovely, even if they're overphotoshopped ><

Lol, I thought his interview was about food, but it's about NK.
