Here is where you sign-up and participate for the Chinese New Year 2010 Event

. EVENT DESCRIPTION .
This event will be based on the stock market. You will sign up for the event. After sign-up ends you will receive five identical event cards. At the start, all five cards will be completely equal to one another in worth. After signing up, you will proceed onto the trading post where you will trade with one another to get cards. Watch out! Everyday a new price of how much your cards are worth will be posted. If you want certain cards or a complete set, you will need to trade with other members to get them! At the end of the game, the official "worth" of each card will be released and that is what each card will be exchangeable for. Some people will end up with all crummy cards, and some will end up with all amazing cards. That's the stock market for you!
If you would like to "purchase" more cards at the beginning of the game, you will have to purchase them prior to the game starting. Each event card will be worth 3 cards and you will only be able to receive the identical event card that you started out with. The number of people who have each card will be the total number of participants divided by five (the number of event card players). There may be an unevenness of card distribution even if it is divided evenly. The cards you will receive will be based on your sign-up position.
At the end, each player who can get all 5 of the event cards will be rewarded the final event card needed to complete the set. This event card, though, will be available for purchase after the game has ended.
. RULES .
All members who sign up before the deadline are eligible to participate.
You get 5 identical event cards for signing up.
You can purchase more of the same event card that you started out with for 3 standard cards a piece (or one special and one standard works too).
In order to sign up you must make a trade comment at this thread. It will be used in the trading of event cards.
The deadline to sign up is February 12th, 1:00 AM PST. Sign ups submitted after the event will not be included.
Gifting event cards is strictly prohibited and you will be disqualifed from the event if you gift your event cards during the event.
You may barter with each other (2 of your cards for one of mine) if you so choose.
