They only had small candles to read by, and he's very well educated and so I imagine when he tries to read any books with modern print, or people who write in the journal with small letters, he has trouble making them out. But seeing long distances are no problem for him.

Description of bedroom:
His tower room: Stone castle walls, lots of large windows spanning three of the walls, a large canopy bed, with red sheets detailed with gold, an mahogany chest with carvings at the foot of his bed, mahogany night stand with an oil lamp, an mahogany desk covered in papers, a soft rug in front of the fireplace, with a throne. A large mahogany table is in the room as well, covered mostly with the books he borrows and reads. A large weapon rack spanning one wall with both useful and decorative weapons, going in order from smallest to biggest. There are several of each. A closet and fully outfitted bathroom, minus a shower. Just a bathtub.
His room in Allen's 'apartment' room: A double bed with red cotton sheets, thick red curtains spanning a double window, the entire floor is carpeted. There's a smaller desk completely cluttered in books and papers and a smaller night stand with an oil lamp. He's moved a smaller weapons rack into their living room, for on hand use while he's there. A closet.
Scents (shampoo/cologne/lotion/etc.): He doesn't use scented bathstuff, but his natural smell would likely be like fresh cut grass and rain and just...Very earthy smells because he spends all day outside, with a hint of metallic from all that weaponry and it chipping onto his clothing.
Laugh: It's usually a sharp abrupt sound, not always mean spirited, but he doesn't usually just sit there and go on forever.
Sense of humour: Mean spirited /sob
Temper: Selective and leveled! One: If you've offended him but in a way he can forgive, he usually tends to blow up quickly and very heatedly with insults and shouting and if you proceed to bug him there will be general threats to get you to go away. It has a lot of triggers.
Two: He gets kind of snappish but he's quieter about it after the argument, he'll probably storm out for some seclusion so he can think about it and may or may not revisit it when he returns. He might just choose to pretend it never happened until he knows how to work it out. This is where he tends to hold grudges the most, as the triggers are an insult to his personality or something he takes a lot of love or pride in.
Three: Like a more severe version of two. He'll get very visibly angry and red in the face as he would with one, but he'll get very still and speak very quietly. THIS IS THIN FUCKING ICE, and giant warning bells to back the hell up immediately if you value their relationship. You'd have to betray him, lie to him, mortally offend him/kill someone to get here.
Basic nature: Kind of prattish. With a golden heart underneath all that. He likes to help people in a subtle manner that they will likely over look or he can easily insult them into ignoring.

Enemies and why: Crowley, Clark Kent, Jr., Gino Weinberg, Cross Marian, Rhode Kamelot and Tyki Mikk. Most of them are for petty reasons, Clark and the last three were for perceived or very real threats to him or to others.
Family: Uther Pendragon, Ygraine Pendragon [deceased]. And his two kids, one castle created for the May plot Lucius Amane, and Halloween/Mordred Pendragon.
Habits: He has a habit of tapping or rubbing his fingers across his lower lip with he's thinking. He runs a hand through his hair and tugs on it when he's frustrated, scratches at the rim of his ear when he's very, very nervous because of the alert button stuck in his ear. Leaves his dishes on the kitchen counter, never in the sink, routinely routes through the fridge and closes it, because he remembers he can't cook anything. Flops across the couch using the arm rest for a back rest so he takes up the whole thing and no one can sit on it. Leaves post-it notes around the apartment when he moves/takes shit and no one's around, in case they come looking for it.
Talents: Um...dude everything? There's very little he isn't good at, because he's a perfectionist.
Hobbies: Training, reading, researching, video games/movies, horseback riding and hunting.
Entertainment of choice: Video Games, or hunting.
Musical talents: He can play the Lute canonly, and has been learning the guitar on and off since LA back in March.
Ambitions: WORLD PEACE. Um, to find a way out of Paradisa, for everyone with their memories intact.
Educational background: He was very highly educated for his time, and he's incredibly smart, prodigy levels in some cases, but he's also very lazy and not very ambitious academically. So a lot of it is the result of being a perfectionist or an accident on account of boredom/decided necessity. Doesn't learn modern crap if he doesn't have to.

Introvert/extrovert: Half? Primarily an introvert. He does like company and speaking to people, but he doesn't require it and often prefers to be left alone. He'll seek people out and is more or less comfortable engaging them in conversation or activities when he does.
