So! I had a lovely four-day weekend, then leapt back into work today, feeling somewhat unprepared, and never quite shaking that feeling. And now I think I have time to throw together a little ( weekend run-down. )

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. Mine was delightful. I cooked the meal, admittedly in my parents' home, and it all came out well. With my brother's family in Florida with the in-laws, it was just the three of us, but we had a lovely relaxing day ( Read more... )

We had a lovely dinner, then went to see No Country for Old Men...

and my parents really liked it!

Two days, two excellent movies. Awesome.

Then we went home for pie. Then I nearly fell asleep sitting up. So I came home. Now I'm in my jammies in front of the TV and I'm heading to bed soon.

Black Friday! They had the usual news story this morning about the people lined up at 5 a.m. to get into Best Buy and whatnot. And all I can think is, "People! Are you crazy?
