There's no place like home -- with a dog
I went to the vet first thing this morning and picked Kaylee up. I missed her so much!! It was terribly strange and lonely to come back Saturday night and have no puppy to greet me. And all day yesterday it just didn't feel the same without Kaylee here at my side, following me wherever I went.
So I went to get her right away, and she was so happy to see me that I nearly burst into tears right there at the vet's office. I brought her home and gave her a bath to get rid of that kennel smell, and now she's squeezed under my chair, still wet and curly, looking like she's ready to go to sleep.
All is right with the world. :-)
