It took me one week to plan and wait for a day when precipitation was low in the morning and the sun was up by 7am. I studied the weather for one week and decided that today, Wednesday, March 24th was perfect for a long bike ride in the morning into work. I mapped out the trail to get miles/minutes that it would take me and I looked up the bus route that would drop me off in front of the Santa Ana River bike trail. I prepared my bags, planned a lunch according to back pack size and woke up early. My sweet husband got my bike out of the garage, I hopped on and James came to the bus stop with me at 6:38am to wait for the 6:50am pick up. The bus never showed. It was now 7:05 am and my husband said "I think we should head back home" - what a waste of time. I try to tell myself that my luck isn't horrible, just my timing. Maybe today wasn't suppose to be the day I ride to work.
My next shot is Monday, it'll be 77º with 10% precipitation and only partly cloudy. By the end of next week, we're suppose to have some sort of Spring showers... but it could be an April Fools joke from the weather channel. Who knows.
James' EEEpc came in yesterday and he has been glued to it. I didn't know newegg.com had a location in Whittier Hills, 25 minutes Northeast of us. He's going to install OSX back onto the MacBook Pro for me - I am very excited! I need an external HD for all my music. I buy music here at work because it's where I listen to most of it and have my account set up. I'm in a funky groove music kind of mood. It's Erykah Badu today on rotation, New Amerykah Pt.1 - her new album drops soon and I might just be tempted to buy it.
A friend of mine is having a roof-top party in Downtown LA on Friday with "Dynasty" as the theme. Oh boy. I bought a dress that sounds fitting lol so I hope I am not the only dweeb there dressed the part. This is what happens when artist throw parties; they get funky. She's a really nice person and she was only able to invite a certain amount of people, so I am kinda honored that she invited me even though we hardly ever talk and we haven't hung out since school ended. Either way, it'll be neat-o.
