Manic Monday
I'm somewhat glad that this month is almost over.
March hasn't been horrid, but I'm just happy we are closer to May.
I really just want to be in a hotel room in Vegas alread. Kthnxbye.
Mozart came home Saturday morning after his snip and he was VERY unhappy.
He was the most unhappy yesterday because not only did I have to give him his pain meds in the morning, I had to apply his flea meds in the afternoon. He was pissed. So pissed, that he took one on top of my corset and the hoop from my wedding. He literally dragged it out of the corner of the bedroom near the closet, tore holes into the bag with his nails and took a piss. I about wanted to kill him. Clever little son-of-a-bitch, but it made for a really peeved mommy. Since I couldn't spank his bottom for obvious surgical reasons, I took away his toys, banned him from the bedroom and stopped paying attention to him. The latter hurt him the most. He was begging for attention and affection all evening. He climbed up to James lap, he came over, sat on my chest while i was laying down and started licking my blouse then while James and I cuddled on the sofa, he planted himself right in the middle of us. He also decided he was going to sleep wedged between the both of us with his back on James and his paws on my head. We let him of course, because we both felt a little bad about not paying attention to him, but he needed to know what he had done was bad. He got his toys back this morning when he peed in the litter box; I wanted to him to know that peeing in the litter box is the only way to go lol
James bought a new compact laptop. We ordered it last night and it should be here by the end of the week. I had wanted to wait until the 'Tax Time Sales' came along next month, but we found a really good deal on one at Newegg so we ordered it. He's going to hand me the MacBook Pro :) I'm pretty excited to have a laptop, finally. He knows my love for Mac, so I'm really excited about it. He also wants to get a nook which is a-ok with me, but I'd rather get electronics that we both need first. For example: phones. His blueberry is dying and so is my cheap-o free Motorola phone. Every time I try to push one button, it does something else. It also has a delayed response and it's kind of annoying lol James' battery and center scroll button are both jacked up, so it's about time we update those. We discussed what stuff I want and the only thing I could think of really was a tablet. I've been wanting one for a while, but priorities were set to taking care of things at home.
It doesn't help that both my husband and I have expensive taste for things.
This week, I need to focus on working out again. I must not be lazy.
I will try to bike to work on Wednesday. I feel like an obsessed weather person looking up this weeks temps, hi-low's and what morning will be warmer than the other.
A girl from work asked me to work on something and I think I'm going to do it for free. It's for an art Gallery and I'd like to one day have someone pay it forward and perhaps create more art connections.
