Love is really a grand thing, ain't it?
Valentine's Day this year is going to be celebrated throughout the entire weekend.
Friday might be a day at Universal Studios - because although I've lived in the So. Cal area my entire life, I have never been to Universal Studios Hollywood. That night, of course, is "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia/Family Guy LIVE on Stage" so we'll be heading to that too. We booked a hotel room nearby so it should be a fantastic night! I'll see if my friend can stop in to check up on Mozart. Saturday I hope to relax and hang out. Sunday we'll go watch a movie, since we've gotten Netflix, we haven't seen anything in theaters. I'll make dinner :) I'm thinking a meatloaf - not sure yet. I already got him a gift, so that's taken care of.
Yesterday I went for my test and thankfully, I guess software is like riding a bike to me. I was worried because I hadn't touched InDesign in almost a year. It came back to me instantly. The guy testing me, Bill Sweatt, he asked me to leave my resume because they are interested in hiring soon, and he asked me to let him know if it didn't work out at Paul's because he's highly interested in hiring me. How awesome! I ran out and brought a copy of my resume and showed him my portfolio. I told him if he also had any freelance work, that I'd be more than happy to be of assistance. Here's to hoping something happens soon. I like that wherever I go, everyone always thinks I'd be such a 'fun person to have working here' - plus, their office has 2 cats roaming around lol
Ok, back to taking armpit hair off a dancer!
