I went to my first write in this evening, and I really enjoyed it. Made some good progress on my word count as well, and I'm now several days ahead. This is good, as between work and fencing tomorrow, I'm not likely to have much time to write.

I'm off to a good start, probably because I'm sick, and so I don't feel bad for doing nothing but lounging around and writing. I am, in fact, doing just that right now. Tomorrow is my last day of summer break, though this summer has really flown by. Between the trip to Poland and then buying our house, it really hasn't felt like I've had much down time. One of the good things about travel is having time to read. Not much else to do on the plane when you can't sleep (well, that and watching 4 of the 5 HP movies between the trip there and back). Also had some down time in the evenings to read, so I got three books done over the past couple weeks.
