Still on the right track

Well, we're showing signs of improvement with the liver, and with the right side of the heart. The doctor also believes that the staph infection will clear up quickly.

M's still quite sedated, so he can't communicate (which sucks), but everytime the nurses bring him around he starts fighting against the tubes and wires and they have to put him back out right away. I took the ipod shuffle in today, so I was kind of hoping that waking up to good music might help keep him calm (we'll find out tomorrow).

In other news I am busy trying to figure out which thousand forms I need to fill out. I know from work that insurance sucks, but health insurance is just ridiculous. I guess I shouldn't complain, because at least we have national coverage. If we were in the US I'd already be putting the house up for sale to cover the costs.

We're also trying to find a house for rent, because we've already spent a lot on hotels, and this is going to take months (yay for hospital christmases). Tomorrow we're getting the cable and internet at home disconnected to save money, and the water shut off, and then all the concerts/shows we had tickets for in December are going up for sale.

I've been debating what to do with all the ficathons I signed up for. I think I am going to try to finish, just maybe a little bit late. I decided that the writing would be a good distraction from all of the waiting at the hospital.Eve Give me ambiguity or give me something else. http://muzes-realm.freehostia.com/evesworld/http://evesharmony.livejournal.com/
