Before bed last night I was scanning my bookshelves looking for something to read for a bit. After a minute or two I acknowledged that since it was already 11:00, starting a new book might not be a good decision. I lay down in bed and reach over to set my alarm... and nearly knock it off the stack of unread/half-read books on my nightstand - there's at least 7 or 8 there. Then I realized that a better use of my time might be deciding what book I should finish rather than what book I should start. I may be slow to catch on, but I do get there eventually.
Spent way too much time yesterday watching tennis. Boy, that was one hell of a match. I'm a bit annoyed by all the people suddenly sucking down Federer Haterade, but eh, whatever. Fair-weather fans always piss me off.
I finally figured out what it takes for NQH and I to go out and do non-errandy active things -- a 3-day weekend. We got all our errands done on Friday and so had Saturday free for other fun stuff. We went to a nearby bike trail/walking path that's 10 or so minutes from our house. The path is a 4-mile loop that mostly follows a river, so it was some nice scenery and fresh air. Well, until the last 1/2 mile when you walk under an overpass and by a parking lot full of abandoned, vandalized trucks. Best not to forget you're in the city afterall. ;)
Still busy with WoW. I'm 10k rep from getting my netherdrake. I'd be much closer, but NQH had a sudden desire to level his Horde druid, and does not want to play by himself. So I dusted off my warlock and did the Stonetalon quests for the third time. I really dislike Stonetalon now. Actually, I just hate Stonetalon without a mount. Or any zone, really. Yes, even my virtual characters are unathletic. :D
