Back at work after 5 1/2 days off.  I know I'd get bored if I was independently wealthy and didn't have to work, but... you know, I'd love the chance to prove myself wrong. :)

NQH and I got up at 5:45 this morning to go vote.  Polls here open at 6, and our local station is only a 5 min walk from the house, which is nice.  We got there just around 6 to find a line through the parking lot, down the street, and around the corner.  Part of the reason we wanted to vote so early is so we wouldn't have to wait in line and could ( Read more... )

Yesterday was very long, oh, let me tell you.

My officemate brought her son into work for a few hours.  He's 11.  They just left to get some ice cream.

Son is a big Warcraft fan.  I get back from lunch and find him at my desk perusing my WoW page-a-day calendar.  We talk about WoW for a few mintues, then he goes back to his crossword puzzle.  He asks his mom for help, she gives him the answer, ( Read more... )
