Two Towers: Breadbox Edition

Aug 25, 2004 15:24

Okay, Two Towers is now up. And as I said I would, I will now tell the story of the "a" in Rohan. As you probably know, I spelled Rohan "Rohn" in the original posting of this BBE. You probably thought this was a mistake. It was, and it was not. Here is how it happened:

This story starts back when I put up the Fellowship of the Ring. In that ( Read more... )

Hooray! You like Beowulf! That's my favorite one! Now I want to make an icon with a picture of a dragon saying, "I am not overreacting."

*Laughs* Oh, that's too cute! I made my own, but yours is too good not to use. I'll be sure to credit you when I use it. Thank you!

"D" is a fine letter, but do not focus too much of your time on it so that you forget the simple pleasure of "S" and "Q."

Only half of TPB memorized? Pfft! You have to have the script and the book memorized to make in my book!

Ah, but I said "At least" half. *blinks as she reads the rest of that sentence* The Book? You've read the book? Seriously? *glomps* YAY! I've never met anyone else who's read it! Zoo of Death scene was spiffy.

Okay, I only have the abridged version, but certain libraries don't have the original Morgenstern. Or a few Douglas Adams books. And some Tamora Pierce books. I swear, they specialize in every author except the ones I like. By the way, *points to last entry* Driving also helps people get from point B to point A very fast. People living at point C, a point directly in between the two, often wonder...

Never mind. You know where I'm going that that. ^_^

I love, love, LOVE that book! A friend and I performed the scene where Inigo has his soliloquy on lost glory and the author interrupts for our monologues in drama class (okay, there were two of us, so it wasn't technically a monologue, but we took turns talking to ourselves for a long time). "What happens here that you're not going to see is a five page soliloquy..."

I've have read all of Douglas Adams except Dick Gently's Holistic Dectective Agency. Why is that not in print in the US? You can get the sequel! Why can't I get the original?

Man, this was great. Oh rock how I love you! HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAA! Man, is ROTK coming soon? Or HP POA. I saw it for my third time a couple nights ago. Even though I hate that movie with a fierce passion. Note: Crappy movies don't get better by watching them 3 times. We were watching ROTK in class, and when Gandalf rides out into the field on Shadowfax, with his staff thingy, and this white light is shinging out of it, some angelic type music start playing. And I was like, I didn't know Gandalf could sing like that! And we laughed.

Don't worry, RotK is coming soon. Soon as I can edit it once more. PoA may be a little while...few things to get out first.

I don't know why everyone loves the rock line so much. It's so weird. But, that really was the expression on Aragorn's face.

Oh, thank god. I checked your profile on ff.net to see if there was anything new...imagine the freezing horror that seized me at the site of a breadboxless screen. *shudder* But you're on here too! So hi!

(This is the twelfth time I'm reading this, BTW. Something about 'Auch!' makes me laugh...)

"Auch" is just a funny word. Just say it out loud a few times...Hilarity.

*sage nod* It's very true. I've started using it as an exclamation (I had to retire my usual "eep!" squeak...it was getting old, you know.)

I panicked for a few moments when I noticed the derth of stories listed on ff.net this afternoon. I am SO glad to see you are re-posting them here! They absolutely make my day, every time I read them. Something about Severus Snape saying "just to remind you. . . I'm really creepy" I guess.

I know you haven't rejected anyone yet, but I thought I would ask. Would you mind being befriended?

I REJECT JOO! No, kidding. Go ahead and friend me.

Severus Snape is the MAN. He could be saying "Chocolate covered moonrocks with milk," and he would still be the MAN.

They should put that line in the next Harry Potter movie. It could be the ingredients for a new potion, or the password to Dumbledore's office or something. Just as long as it's Snape that says it!!

Your TTT BBE rules by the way. *Does the Happy Smeagol Mamba*

Or he could be having breakfast. "Mmm...chocolate covered moonrocks with milk. And orange juice and toast. Part of my balanced and extremely large breakfast."
