OMG! Portillo's!
Thanks to Henry Park's away message on AIM, I found out that Portillo's('s?) first location outside of Chicago has now opened ...
... in Buena Park, CA. It looks like they opened on October 11th. Someone took pictures at an event that George Wendt and Jim Belushi showed up to on the 8th.
There will also be one opening some time next year in Schererville, IN.
The bad news: Neither of those places is anywhere near NYC. :P
Oh well. It just means the next time I'm in L.A., I HAVE to swing by Buena Park before coming home.
