State of Me:
I'm good! I am into the last term of my first year of the job I started in September and it's...still pretty good! I get tired a lot, and I'm basically working six days a week still, which sucks, but I have plenty of time to tag at the pace I prefer to. I'd still like to keep my roster to a manageable size, though. I'm up to five pups, and that feels totally doable, but I need to be careful as I start to move forward, I think. I know what I'm like. Last week, I interviewed for a promotion at work. It's only a maternity cover, so it's a limited term, but it's going to come with a MUCH increased work/stressload so I really need to play it by ear until I see how that feels.

Continues to be pregnant. This month, I'd like to do an EP where her and Jesse find out the sex of the baby (she's having a girl - Ripley! Because Jesse). ALSO, if you have a pup who's interested in using Arch Studios, let me know. I'm always happy to do private threads set at the studio! I'd really like to get Beca out there more this month. I've been a little bit lazy about having her meet new friends, and I need to rectify that. So, yes! EP soon!

Is in a much, much better mood recently. My big idea for Newt at the moment is that I want him to get the idea that he'd KIND of like to have a surname and to float the idea of, maybe, taking Kavinsky's. I'm not saying that they need to get married - they're babies - but I really like the idea of that gesture, so I may have Newt start thinking about it this month. Newt is another pup with his little knot of people who probably needs to get out more, so I'll be aiming to tag him about this month. If you have a pup who you think would like to be friends with a Glader, let me know!

I have decided that Kaz is eighteen next month! I have no canon birthday for him, so I've decided that May suits him. I'm going to give him my sister's birthday, 18th May - I'll be doing an EP for that. What that means is that Kaz will be able to start securing ~shadowy finance~ to open a Darrow branch of the Crow Club, which is Kaz's big business venture back in Ketterdam. With the casinos already in Darrow, I'm not sure what, exactly, this Crow Club would enter. I'd LIKE it to have gambling, so maybe I'll do some kind of plot involving organised crime in Darrow. I'm sure Kaz would enjoy that a lot. Kaz is really fun to play at the moment. He's started to think about the difference between KETTERDAM Kaz and DARROW Ketterdam; he's letting himself change, recognising that change as a good thing. He's a little warmer. He smiles occasionally. I get new canon in September and I've made the decision to do as I did with The Raven King and not read any extracts or anything in advance, so...exciting! I would like to have more opportunity for Kaz to be dangerous in Darrow; he might be softer, these days, but that doesn't mean that Dirtyhands won't show up when there's rough work that needs to be done.

Adaline got a job, at the library archive, and she's been on dates with a VARIETY of men, though, so far, things are most serious with Krem and Sam Merlotte. I don't know, at this stage, whether she'll settle down/fall for anyone, but she's having a lovely time. I'm going to continue having her socialise and meet people. I've got no plans for serious plot with her atm.

This fucker. Jack has been in Darrow for 21 days and he has...Yeah. There's a lot going on. He's currently responsible for two pieces of graffiti in Darrow (ESCAPE outside the train station and HEAL on the shore) and I've been SUPER PLEASED and REALLY EXCITED when his graffiti has turned up in other people's EPs! He's made a few friends already (I'm REALLY enjoying his threads with Cassie and Blue). Kavinsky is developing a burgeoning crush which Jack is not yet aware of, so that's going to go well. Jack's not dealing SUPER well with the loss of his sister, Jille. She's neuro-atypical (suffering from disorganised schizophrenia) and Jack feels that, by being in Darrow, he's letting her down. He's suppressing those feelings like a motherfucker, though, so they've only really come up in one thread so far. I created a Darrow Zen Center so Jack has a job working in the bookstore there, just like he did back in San Francisco. His current plan is to work on his portfolio and apply to art school in Darrow for the Fall. Graffiti will continue to pop up every time I give him an EP. ALSO. ALLLLLLLSO. Jack has a crush. On a boy. A boy with very, very red hair. We're currently pre-playing the moment when that crush will become...more than a crush. And Jack is having a LOT of feelings. That'll become IG mid-May, so Jack will be dealing with quite a lot towards the end of the month. Last time I did a SotP, Jack was literally a whim-maybe-I'll-app-him so...yeah. Good decision!
