Rough and ready SotP
State of Me:
SO since the last time I did this, I got back on Prozac! So that's exciting. Right now, my mental health means I am exhausted a LOT and I'm unreliable, a little, and I get overwhelmed by my inbox a lot. So, if I drop a thread and you would rather I didn't, please tell me, and I'll tag it again! I am trying to manage self care and not making myself tag if I don't want to, which means it's kind of an all or nothing deal atm. Drugs will kick in soon, and hopefully I will level out. And it's only four weeks until the summer holidays and six glorious weeks off, so! Yes!

Still absolutely pregnant. Due 2nd week of August. Since the last time I wrote a SotP, she's started a record label (which still doesn't have a name XD) and signed her first artist, Party Poison! Hopefully, she'll be organising more gigs, etc in the run up to omg actually being a mom and having to grow up a little. I am probably due of a rewatch of Pitch Perfect. If anyone ever wants to bring me a Fat Amy, that would probably make my life.

We're currently threading Djinn plot hallucinations and it's both HORRIBLE and WONDERFUL and I LOVE IT. The big thing since the last SotP is that Newt decided that he wanted to take Kavinsky's surname (without actually getting married), so that'll be starting to move forward soon. I don't have a lot of plot with Newt and I could really do with tagging him around more. Resolution!

I had this real moment of self-doubt with Kaz this month. He's already come a long way from canon and I was starting to worry that I'd sort of made him really, really OOC. When I think about it, I don't think I have - I think Kaz in Darrow is just a very different thing from Kaz in Ketterdam. His development doesn't feel rushed or forced. It's just who he is now, symbolised by the fact that he's SOMETIMES wearing cotton gloves in public, rather than leather ones. Coming up, he's going to be opening the Two Crows Club, a bar with drinking and dancing but definitely no gambling. I like the idea of what Kaz Brekker is when he ends up in the light because that's where being with Inej has brought him. Finding the balance with Kaz Reitvald.

Adaline's secret is out in the open, which...was not as ground-shaking as she was afraid that it might be. Everybody knows. Nobody cares. I want her to get a dog soon; she misses her dogs. And, hopefully, Ellis will be arriving soon, so that'll disrupt her relationships nicely. I love it.

100% A+ in love with Party Poison, omg. That's pretty much all that I have to report at this point. He is building some lovely friendships. I threw him into Djinn plot (we're still playing it out) but I think it'll trigger fears about his own mental health re: his sister. I might give him his item next month and I'm planning cisswap in August. Lots of lovely plot; easiest pup in the world to play!

Another impulse app (I'm making a habit of this) and another ROARING success. God, I love my Girl. She's such a great character but the comic gives so much more room to develop. She's made some lovely friendships already in the City (Ellie, Kavinsky, Aggie - man, I love her having friends her age) and she's DATING, much to her (and Carson's) surprise. And she has her DADDY back and threading her with Poison is pretty much the best thing ever. AHHHH I LOVE HER. I have a really, really mean idea for an item, but it would come with the need to apply for mod approval, so...TBD!
NO FUTURE because this is the perfect number of pups. For now.
