I've had a pretty good week this week. Lots of time spent with people, chatting and building friendships. A bit of time spent with God, praying, reflecting and improving on growth. My tax return money came through this morning. It's quite a bit. I'm trying very hard though, to not think of it as mine. Rather, God has given it to me in trust: stewardship. I have a new moniter and mp3 player! Hurrah! I took a visit to Matt (_shana's husband) at Harvey Norman and he cut me a good deal on these things. I am currently using my new moniter and it's SO BIG!! And by that I mean it's so big!!!!

I'm going to be buying a 22" flat screen HP moniter next week! I am rather excited by this prospect. I was going to be buying it today, but my credit card payment is taking it's time going through and I didn't have the available credit. But soon it will be mine preciousssssesss.

I finally received my scholarship money today! So I paid off my credit card debt (hurrah!) and then went food shopping. Tonight's agenda is to cook up all my food for the next few weeks. I spent $100 on food, now hopefully I wont be hungry for a while. Yay ( Read more... )
