Party!!
Today was the big day! Ethan did really well considering his extreme lack of napping today! He didn't do so well with his own cake but I think that had more to do with the fact that 30 people yelled after singing Happy Birthday and he got totally freaked out!
He got tons of cool presents and a lot of clothes for the spring time which is nice it saves me that for later!! We have a few shots of him covered in cake on the camera still needing to be uploaded so I will have to post those later but here are a few of his cake and him riffling through his gifts!!
All in it was a good day! A lot of good food and some good company. My MIL was in full pity party mode though I was expecting it and as usual she paid little attention to her grandson. What can i do but bite my tongue really?? Bottom line soon Ethan will be big enough to make his own opinion about her and that's all I can wait for is some knowledge that I am not insane. Though Sharon let me know today that she though my MIL is nuts!! So it isn't just me afterall!!
