2 Days and Counting!!
We are now 2 days away from Ethan's big bash!! I can't believe it's already here. Besides the fact that my house is a mess!! LOL I am excited and devastated that he is already a year old :( I can't believe how fast it went by and I can only imagine that it gets quicker from here.
I have to clean up today while Ethan naps and tomorrow I will start decorating while he sleeps. He's not going to know the difference if it's done a day earlier and it will help me maintain my sanity!! I have about 32 confirmed guests including kids (4) so it will be a little crazy here Sunday but it should be fun!! The kids will play with all of Ethan's toys and the adults will hang out! I am doing the whole thing in the basement. I feel that's easiest. That way all the toys are there. Besides it's really the only room in the house that I can house so many people all at once.
I still have to wrap his presents, bake his cake, decorate, make some food and clean.....really I haven't gotten much, except for the shopping, done on this this week :( Oh well I do well under extreme pressure thank goodness!!
My MIL is in the hospital, she has bad asthma and is severely overweight. A week ago she went to see her doctor about chest pains and he instructed her to go to the hospital and be admitted for testing. Being that she feels her life is more importnant than her health and she had some social engagements planned she didn't go. Well obviously it got worse and she has been at the hospital now for almost 24hours. She doesn't like to hear that she needs to rest more and lose some weight so she avoids situations where they will tell her this. She is 65 and has a more active social life than Joel and I do. It's insane, I know I am not out like I used to be now having a child keeps me at home more but still I have groups and stuff I'm involved in but she's still out and about more than Ethan and I are and I'm not working now. She is!!
I hope she gets better, I know she's not my favourite person but still I don't wish her any harm.
I should be cleaning now that Ethan is sleeping!! Later!
