SPT
Rehearsal tonight was fun. I'm very glad about this, because rehearsal has been rather frustrating the last couple of weeks. Every show has that period where nothing seems to be working and rehearsals stop being fun (not surprisingly, this almost always corresponds exactly with going off book...) but anyway, I think R&J is coming out of that bad period. People are learning their lines, and the show is starting to come together. I haven't yet told Caitlin that I'm going to have to miss another Sunday rehearsal for rugby nationals. In the week before tech week. I've been putting off telling her that.
After rehearsal I went to an exorbitantly long SPT meeting. We talked about lots of crap that doesn't really matter to me. And voted on lots of crap in the classic Bryn Mawr style of lets make everything take ten times as long as it really needs to. But finally we decided on shows for next fall. Guess what? We're doing The Scottish Play! I'm so ridiculously exited about this, it's not even funny. I've always wanted to be in that play, and now we're doing it, and it's not my thesis semester, so I might actually have time to be in it!
