I ain't no Sal Paradise.
So what's the news... (and why is my LJ full of bullet-point posts lately?!)
• I skipped work on Friday, went to Slovenia on Thursday night already because my boss had planned a meeting for me at 5pm on Friday... no way was I going to attend that. Called in gay ;) (You know how they say homosexuality is a disease...?)
• But before that my boss advised me on The Dress Code. Fuck me if I start wearing suits on a daily basis.
• The "leaving" part is getting harder and harder every time.
• I've been popping anti-allergy pills and they have helped for the most part, but I still get the rash here and there... and who knows what's gonna happen once I go off the pills.
• The new sex toy I'd ordered has been tested. ;)
• I spent the whole week until today in a hotel by the coast in Northern Germany (on business). I am not a huge fan of this whole staying in hotels, being away from home routine.
• Business people on flights make me depressed. The kind of people who fly there in the morning, back in the evening, or the next day... I don't want to become that kind of person.
• What irritates me: when they announce that people with rows 16-30whatever should board first and when you get on the plane (as someone seated in row 27), half of the front rows are already full. Can't you people follow the simplest directions?
• I got back home, repacked and am now sitting here in my new snowboard boots... wondering whether they'll be too small.
• Off to Slovenia tomorrow after work...
