I committed to write 6000 words in November. I wrote 7279. (Or more, because I didn't manage to log my words one day... and possibly because OmmWriter counts differently than MS Word and I don't know which one to trust)
I'm not dissatisfied, but when I think about it, 7279 is nothing. Either way, it
mini-nanowrimo was such a great experience!
I managed to write on 19 (or 20) days. To my excuse, I usually only skipped the weekends when I was with M. or dead after a long day of travel.
I want to continue this daily writing. Some of the stories are on my writing blog, the rest is still unfinished. What surprised me was the amount of apocalyptical visions of the future - there was the ice age and the alien invasion, and right now I'm writing another future vision.
I had a day that pissed me off majorly today. Work = sucks, especially the people and their attitudes. I was so angry today when I was leaving. I'm thinking I'm gonna quit this job in not too long; it's not what I was promised, the company isn't, the work isn't really, the amount of travel is definitely more than what I expected.
I went to see the doctor on Tuesday, since the pills I had gotten the first time stopped working after about a week. I got one of the strongest anti-allergy pills (I take one a day) and some cortizone, plus I still have this cortizone cream - it's OK during the day but in the evening when the pill's effect wears off (or after I eat something???), I get the rash again. Today in the morning I woke up with my boobs covered in red blotches that had blended together. So basically both of them were kind of swollen and itchy. :(
On a happier note, M. is coming this weekend - or well, tomorrow evening, and I can't wait! :) I know I haven't talked about our relationship much on here, but... things are good. <3
I also went skating last night. The session was nice, not too crowded, and I got to talk to some people who seemed to share my interest in figure skating - so I now know a bit about where to go for classes and where to get my blades sharpened. :) I wasn't very good last night, though, there were too many people moving too fast last night, so I couldn't jump, my spins travelled and my blades felt blunt, but it was still so nice and relaxing. Ah, skating.
