I'm home and it feels nice, even though it's very hot here. My palm have sore spots from dragging my suitcases - the large one had 31kg in the end and I had to pay 40€ for it. What was even more annoying - their credit card device didn't work, so I had to go withdraw the money with my credit card (which means fees) and pay the exchange fees in addition. :/ But whatever.
It's nice to be home with mom and brother again, hee. Brother even tore himself away from hi computer for five minutes to talk to me and he gave me an awkward hug.
I'm freshly showered and wearing my nice tiny nightie and I'm going to sleep naked like I always do on hot summer nights when there's no roomies to worry about. And I love that I can drink water from the tap and it tastes good.
I got my shoulders tanned a little while Robert - our friend's son - drove me through Berlin in his roofless car. Then I had pizza (he even paid, hehe) and then I succumbed and bought ice cream while waiting at the train station - I had to buy a McFlurry, because I realized I couldn't have carried a cone, not even for a short distance, not with the luggage. Then I waited for my train (like 2 hours), was on the train for another 2, appreciated the German landscape a little, and then I was home, having cake and stuff.
