-I will be a bridesmaid this summer.
-I made poppyseed hamentashen for Purim, not because I am Jewish, but because I approve of holidays in honor of people named Esther.
-The hamentashen was pretty good. I used a rugelach dough recipe that was hard to work with 'cause it was so melty. (1 cup butter, 1 cup cream cheese, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp vanilla and a scant 2 cups of flour to hold it together...)
-I gave most of the hamentashen to Abi as a thank you for teaching me to knit.
-I have knitted (knat?) a whole 1'6" of a scarf so far, yay!
-I think some of the loose woolen bits have gotten up my nose.
-I rewatched the first part of Red Dwarf the other day, and since I was 13 the first time around, I must say, Lister seems rather younger now.
-Toblerone bars are overpriced, yet tasty.
-Seasons three and four of Buffy the Vampire Slayer are pretty good.
-I want to read Joseph and His Brothers, damnit.
-Can anyone reccomend a good translation of À la recherche du temps perdu ? Because I will never be able to read that bastard in French.
-my posts are self centered and dumb. go blog!
