I've got to be quick, dad wants the computer, so Manitoba will have to wait until tomorrow.
Ontario
Provinces on the east coast will generally crack jokes about Newfoundland, and the provinces on the west coast will treat Saskatchewan about the same, but no matter where you go in Canada everyone is united in their hatred of Ontario; but mostly - Toronto.
There are a slew of reasons for it, none of which are justified. It's all petty in the end. All that aside, I think Ontario's the second most beautiful province. Lush forests, great lakes (ha, a pun), and it's been my home for 15 and a half years now (seven in Kingston, the rest in Toronto/Scarborough).
Perhaps the only reason I dislike Ontario is that I dislike telling people I'm from there. A) Because technically I'm not; but mostly B) People will then stereotype me and look down on me.
Last night I went to see 3:10 to Yuma (again) and some guy made a wity remark about us (Krista and I) wanting to see what I horse looks like. I wanted to tell him that I see more horses downtown Toronto (police horses) than I've EVER seen in Saskatchewan, but instead I just said:
"Hey Krista, should we tell him you used to horse-back ride."
The point is, everyone hates Ontario, and everyone in Ontario hates Toronto and everyone in Toronto hates Americans.
We seem to be a nation held together by our hatred of everyone else.
