P.S. I never liked Rose, and actively loathed her once the mooning over 10 started, so I didn't need fandom's incessant misty-eyed "feels" to ruin her.

If people keep asking you, "Why are you being such a bitch?" you might be being a bitch.

If people keep asking you, "Why are you being so rude?" you might be being rude.

If you take pride in either of these things, I don't know that I want to be friends with you.

There's a difference between being able to express your opinion and having people disagree with your opinion; the latter does not negate the former. Neither have anything to do with your first amendment rights unless a governmental entity is involved.
