Two More Sleeps Until Wine!
I have within the last week been to see The Artist which I found utterly delightful. Much like Slumdog Millionaire I think it deserves to be the toast of the award season simply by not being the usual navel gazing drivel that is nominated and actually being enjoyable. That nicely segues us into the fact that, as usual, I fell into a coma of utter ambivalence while reading this year's Oscar List.
On the dvd front I have watched:
Attack the Block - Hugely disappointing, some of the themes about community and personal responsibility were interesting but the film just didnt work for me as either drama, comedy or horror. John Boyega is a bloody good actor though.
All The President's Men - Turned it off an hour in. Watergate it turns out was really boring. Maybe you had to be there?
