As in a solo act at work. It shall be a looooong two months till the end of recruitment. I have vowed not to whine and cry though like the rest of the soft southerners I work with, a bit of Presbyterian grit is what's needed!
I did have a lovely weekend though cackling in turn with sometimeredhead, anteros_lmc and nodbear. I did find time to watch Terminator: Salvation though and while it was overblown and hokey the nostalgia factor made it hugely enjoyable.
I have just finished reading The Possessed: Adventures with Russian Books and the People who read them by Elif Batuman. It was funny and interesting but the final chapter was by far the weakest and made for anti-climatic ending to what had been a very good read.
