Some brief news: I got a scholarship for the 2010-2011 year. (Woo!) I got early acceptance into two MA History programs (and some pretty nifty scholarships for next year. (Woo!) I'm feeling much happier! (Woo!) I now own a "Little Black Dress." (Woo!) And I got an A+ on a document analysis from my favourite prof (she doesn't think I'm dumb! Woo!)

In case you're wondering, I am not-dead. In fact, I am very much alive, but in the Canadian wilderness!

Or rather, staying at a cottage which is more like a house on a private lake. :) I shall be there until Friday.

And when I get back I shall go back and read my f-list and then comment on all your really old posts! :D

 Okay, quick update (because I am FAR TOO DISTRACTED by the shiny things in front of me to do a full-on, lengthy, boring post):

1) With regards to previous two f-locked posts: feeling much better about the whole sitchy-sitchy and we're going out to a movie tomorrow, and then going to a party together. :D

Holy shit! 6 weeks? SERIOUSLY? Wow. I guess that's the month of August + the 2 weeks I was away in July. O_O H'okay then. I mean, I've been on LJ pretty much every day since then, reading fanfic and the like. But I haven't felt the need to make a post.
