Boston Pride 2009
went to see the boston pride parade with Aaron and
Joshua today. it was fun, sort of middling. there've
been better and worse years.
lots of churches, family organizations, kids and local
politicians. not really so much outre dancing and flagrancy
as i can recall from past events. the marching band turnout
was abysmal; i attribute that to fewer and fewer people
knowing how to play instruments these days *sigh*
as far as tossed swag catching goes, i managed to snag
a package of condoms and lube, silver beads and a
Jägermeister thong. i'm not even kidding.
then we ate vegan füd in Chinatown, and then went walking
about in the sun for ice cream :9
Kit unfortunately had to work today and missed out,
but she asked me to bring home a blonde 20-21 year old
with a Bettie Page haircut. i did not find this, alas.
it was a nice day for a parade :)
