i am sure something will come up... my advice is to take the summer and take loads of naps and just veg for awhile... you deserve it... then when your parents start giving you funny looks it is time to get your butt into gear...
Is it the law to change your last name in the USA? Here, women are known by their maiden names, and by their husband's names, depending on the situation.
Chinese people say a person's name by [surname] [given name, 1 or 2 characters]. Even when you are married, your official name is the maiden name. Sometimes you may choose to be addressed by your husband's surname (like for parent-teacher meetings), to make things easier. Legally, though, I don't think you change the Chinese name.
Wow reading that was like reading something I'd type. I'm finishing college this summer and am looking for an internship right now. It's all so scary and I'm worried I can't handle things. At least I don't have to worry now that I'm the only person who feels like that.
My brother graduated last autumn and my parents are very worried about him. Personally, I have complete belief that he will manage just fine. Pretty much every graduate is going to feel unsure of going into the working world on his/her own, but everyone manages to find their way somehow or other. They think I'm naive to think this way, but I think this is the truth. That's not to say there won't be obstacles, but in the end, you will also do just great.
