Hahahaha so in my packing, I'm going through old stuff and deciding what to throw away or keep. I have a ton of old Crimson papers (Florida Tech's newspapers) that I kept with articles I wrote or if they had something really interesting (like when the hurricanes went through). I decided to just take out the leaflets with my articles, but it's fun skimming some of them:
"Gas Prices Continue to Soar" -- guess what was the national average in March 2005 that they are whining about? A whopping $2.13. That is about half of what it is today in LA.
I also found an article I had written introducing Thefacebook and FITfacebook. How many people remember when it wasn't www.facebook.com, but www.thefacebook.com? I had completely forgotten about FITfacebook, which only allowed you to search within FIT, and even had information such as what dorm you live in available. (I don't mean you could type it in, it was a drop down menu!) They also had a "what am I doing this summer" section. Ah, how facebook has changed...
Okay back to the grind.
