My muscles hurt in places I didn't even know had muscles

Does anyone else here have a personalized workout menu? I do. I'd like to compare, because I'm not sure mine actually is a workout menu. I think the person who gave me the workout menu is evil (Haruna) and told me it was a workout menu when really it is just torture that I have been tricked into doing to myselfIn other interesting news, certain ( Read more... )

Did you get any books on how to be a better catcher while you were at it?

Me being a better catcher won't keep you from getting fat.

One Two hot chocolates are not going to make me fat.

Newsflash. Not even if they have marshmallows in them.

So: did you?

They will if they're a habit, Haruna. And then nobody will want to put you in a calendar of shirtless pitchers for charity.

And no. Twenty books on nutrition are pretty heavy, and my arms still hurt from yesterday.

I made myself a workout menu. It's not torture.

It's a sensible thing to do if you care about your performance. In fact, a baseball-specific training menu can significantly increase your speed, batting power, and throwing velocity.

Go read this article. You should be adapting your workouts according to that guide.

That article seems to suggest much more humane things than my workout menu. I think parts of me die in the course of executing my workout menu.

Then maybe it's not the right workout menu for you. You shouldn't be killing yourself. It is supposed to be hard, though, at first.

Oh, mini-Haruna. Sweet, sweet mini-Haruna. It is entirely possible real Haruna is trying to kill me. He did just challenge me to a duel.

I have a workout menu! It was built for me with a lot of concern for my condition, so it uses a lot more stretching and pushing and running than what I used to do. I used to work on my throwing and flexibility most. I'm also supposed to eat a lot! A lot of protein and carbohydrates, so that I gain weight.

I lost three kilos overnight after our match against Tousei. I really need to build it back, and then add muscle. Especially if I ever want to be able to pitch well.

It sounds like you know about nutrition, then! You probably know better than to think marshmallows are healthy food.

Marshmallows are probably not healthy, but they can give you a lot of energy because of their sugar, and sugar and carbohydrates are processed similarly, so if you ate one or two before a workout, it might help your stamina during it? Or if you feel dizzy afterword, but you've had too much water and don't want to get sick?

What if a hypothetical person did not feel dizzy after a workout? What if a hypothetical person just thought they deserved a mug of marshmallows swimming in hot chocolate because they'd finished a workout? But they did not feel dizzy at all. That is important to this hypothetical.

Then the marshmallows are unhealthy and the hypothetical person would get fat and lose their abs, right?

Could you please stop baiting my team's pitcher? He's more likely to do his catcher bodily harm when he's that upset.

But he gets all cute when he's mad! And I can see why being compared to Haruna might be bad thing, what with him being insane and all, but it could be flattering for a pitcher. Haruna is very good, after all.

Saa, I think he'd rather be his own pitcher. Haruna's a bit uncontrolled, if I remember the stats correctly. Multiple deadballs, right?

You're not totally wrong about the former part.

His control has gotten a lot better, actually.
