So I always liked taking photos. When I was little I had a red plastic film camera with no zoom, no auto wind and the flash didn't work. I liked to take photos of fruit on my door mat. My most acclaimed fruit doormat photos were 'mango on a doormat' and 'banana on a doormat'. Since then I have moved onto digital cameras. I now own a few but only use my Canon IXUS 850 is and my Canon EOS 400D. I like the creativity that taking photos gives me. I loved making graphics using other people's pictures, and then realised I could use mine instead. I am always the perfectionist and I'm very rarely happy with a shot. I am still learning how to create certain types of effects and using Flickr really helps to inspire me. I love looking through people's shots and getting ideas for myself. One thing I am always in awe of is magazine photography - shoots with celebs and high fashion work. I love the theme that's created with them. I loved the kind of shoots that are put in Detour magazine in America. That's what I aspire to do. Unfortunatly I'm only really good at taking stills without people in them, and the only person I shoot well is me! It's all part of being in control.
Whenever I have an idea for a picture, I always think it over, work it out in my head, and then it's perfect when it's shot. If I take a photo just on a whim, it's never that great in my opinion.
But you can see for yourself.....
