Zach had a bit of an adventure last night. I'm not going to add specifics here, because I don't want to upset the people involved.

He got a tooth knocked out last night. Well, half of one came out last night, and the other half today. It was a baby tooth, and a new one is coming in below, no harm done for the long term.

My mom never attended my gymnastics meets when I competed as a kid and teenager. As a kid, that hurt a little bit. (But not hugely, because my dad attended regularly.) As an adult, I understand that she was petrified that she'd see me hurt myself. Given that the injury rate of competitive gymnasts is 100%, her fears were legit

You know, I was starting to draft up something supportive to say that I really have no business saying, given that I'm not a parent. As long as you're over-analyzing, you're probably doing ok.
