I really love the show
Arrested Development. The humor is clever and witty, and the writing is unbelievably good. Like
one or
two other good shows on TV, they obviously plan out the story in advance, so that they can set up jokes and reference others throughout the season. I think it's generally very intelligent humor that isn't inaccessible or pretentious. About the only thing it doesn't have going for it is the fact that if you miss an episode, you miss a lot, and a lot of my friends are putting off watching it until they can catch up on the whole thing on the
DVD. Oh, and the fact that apparently not enough people are watching it, which means that Fox keeps changing air dates, and doesn't advertise it much, and might pull the plug on it at some point. Sound
familiar? Anyway, it just came back from a short hiatus for the World Series and is now on every Monday night at 8:00. I can't wait for next week's episode!
