Praise for Ars Magica, True Lineages and The Divine
W00T! Check out these comments about Houses of Hermes: True Lineages and Realms of Power: The Divine, two books for Ars Magica Fifth Edition that I had a lot to do with writing. The thread is discussing why Ars Magica is possibly the best magic system of any fantasy roleplaying game. I must agree, though I admit I'm biased. :)

I love the effect that having better penetration with lower level spells has on the game. I love the fully integrated Mystery initiation rules. I think that the expansions of the system in Realms of Power: Divine and Houses of Hermes: True Lineages were with very few exceptions some of the best mechanical additions the line has ever seen.
