Yay!  I'm going back to Yosemite this weekend to squeeze in one more hike before the weather turns cold and wet.  And best of all... I'm getting paid to hike! Well, hike and shoot footage for a documentary.

What a great weekend! I most def need to travel more often!

First off, thanks to everyone for the kind words and support about our dog's passing on Saturday. Of all the pets we had growing up, Spike was the only one I've mourned. As I mentioned in a previous post, every third weekend of the month, I'll be going on a hike to prepare for an extended backback trip in August. So to start things off, I've chosen a very easy hike to do. Some may not even consider it a hike because nearly the entire trail is paved and you hardly ever step off road.
