I'm so sorry for the delay, but first I was very busy and then I had a vacation for 10 days with my girl :D
and for the future, I'll do my beset to update every week, but tomorrow is my first day of my new training....
Christina was sitting on her bed waiting eagerly for her phone to ring. She hadn’t slept all night and had to go to work in less than an hour but she didn’t really care anymore. The best cardio doctor was gone and she had to learn from Dr. Dixon, but that woman was more awkward than anyone she knew so far.
She was deep in thought as her phone started ringing in her lap, she jumped any nearly dropped it to the floor but got a hold on it. She didn’t recognise the number and thought it was Callie, “Callie, is that you? God I hope so are you all right where are….”
”Stop Christina it’s me Addison.” “Oh, do you know where she is right now. Please tell me something good, I need good news here.” There was only silence on the other end till Addison sighed loudly, “I really don’t know if it’s good news or not but I might know where she could be right now.” What do you mean by could be either you know where she is or not.”
”Has Callie ever told you about her family?” “A few bits but what has this to do with Callie and her whereabouts. She hasn’t spoken to them in a long time because of what happened with bambi.” “Bambi? I think I don’t want to know about that. Whatever, I called a few colleagues, if she went to work for another hospital or if they heard anything about a Torres family.” “So what did they say, anything about her.”
“Yeah, a friend of mine in Miami called back a few minutes ago the Torres family clan is living down there and he heard about a lost daughter finally coming back home. I’m not sure if it’s Callie because nobody saw that girl. But I have no other idea where she could be.” “Thank you a lot Dr. Montgomery you helped me so much.” Christina said and at the same time searched through the closet for her luggage and something to wear.
”What are going to do now Christina?” “I’m going after her and slap her around a bit, what do you think?!” Christina said mockingly, “I just want to know if she’s ok. I know that she’s miserable right now about what happened with Hahn, what she had done and what happened afterwards but she’s a friend somehow and if I can’t find Hahn I have to find Callie.”
”You’re a good friend for her Christina, I’m glad that she wasn’t alone the whole time when I couldn’t be there for her.” “Yeah whatever, still it would be better if Hahn stayed in the first place but what happened happened.” “Give her all the best from me, and she should call me when she’s ready to talk.”
”Ok, but I have to go now. I have to catch the flight to Miami so bye.” “Wait a moment, don’t you have to go to work?” “Sure, but will the chief do, fire me? I don’t think so at least I won’t kill someone.” “Please Christina call me when you know something ok bye.”
They ended the call and Christina rushed out of the apartment with her hastily packed luggage and a hopeful feeling in her gut.

”I’m here now, so how the hell do I get to the Torres family estate?” Christina murmured as she’s waiting for her luggage. “Excuse me you’re looking for the Torres estate?” As Christina turned towards the voice a good looking man is standing in front of her. She blinked and said, “Yeah, I…I’m looking for a Calliope Torres she’s a doctor.” “Then I think you should go to the hospital and I’m sure you’ll find her there,” he smirked at her.
”No, you don’t understand I’m a friend of her from Seattle I’m looking for her because she disappeared and now I’ve heard that she came to her family estate but I don’t know where it is.” “You are Christina, aren’t you?” the man asked thoughtfully.
”Yeah, how do you…” “Oh, sorry I’m Raul, Callie’s older brother. It’s nice to finally meet you.” “Can I give you a ride, as you want to see Callie as well.” “Sure thanks,” and with that they walked outside with their luggage and were greeted with black limousine and a driver who took their luggage. Christina just stood there and didn’t know what to do or what to say. Raul began to laugh, “It seems Callie hasn’t mentioned that she came from money?” “She mentioned something but not that.”
“Get in there it’s a long way back to the estate and I think we have a few things to talk about.” A few long minutes later Christina got uncomfortable and asked, “So how does it come that you were at the airport? I mean …”
“I came back from Barcelona where I’m living. My mom called that I should come home immediately that something happened. I haven’t heard from Callie in a long time so it must have something to do with her. And now that I’ve met you at the airport there is definitely something wrong. So tell me what happened in Seattle that’s so bad that Callie is fleeing to her parents?!”
”To tell you the truth I don’t know where I should start, there is this whole mess and Callie is in the middle.” “Has this anything to do with her ex-husband George?” “No, nothing like that. It’s more the opposite direction,” Christina wanted to laugh but couldn’t, the tears were brimming in the corner of her eyes because it was the first time that she couldn’t let herself go.
Raul watched, Callie had told him about Christina but she never mentioned that she was emotional, Callie always described her as an apathetic person, “Does this have anything to do with Erica Hahn?” “Yeah, has Callie told you?”
”She told me the last time that we talked, that she’s scared because she was feeling something that she hadn’t felt before not even with George. She hadn’t told me that it was Erica she’s talking about but I knew it right away because Erica was the only name she mentioned. What happened, that Callie is now so depressed that my mom calls me to come ASAP?”
”Hahn left the hospital for good because Callie has done some things that weren’t ok or acceptable.” “And what, for example?” “She cheated on Dr. Hahn and a few other things too, and someday I think it was just too much to bear it anymore. She resigned and disappeared, Callie was different afterwards and then she disappeared too, and now I’m here.”
”And what now, do you want to bring her back to Seattle?” “No, there isn’t anything left for her. I just…I just want to talk to her nothing less and nothing more.” Both were silent again as the ride to the Torres estate continues. Raul didn’t knew what else to say, and so he stared out of the window and thought about his little sister who has changed so much the last few month that he wouldn’t recognise her again. She fell in love again although with another woman, but what does it matter, Callie seemed happy at the time. But now he doesn’t know what will await him once he got home.
