”Where are you going Yang?”, Mark yelled after her. “What do you think, I go to the hospital and search through her locker. There has to be something, that shows us where she is now or will be or whatever.” Christina was on a mission and as she came to the entrance of the hospital even shoved Bailey out of her way.

”What’s the matter with her?”, asked Bailey as Mark rushed past her to catch up with Christina. Lexie came to a stop beside her, “Callie disappeared and left a letter behind and Christina is worried, why I don’t know because Christina never worries about someone than herself but I think I miss something here because Christina accused Izzie at Joe’s about something like stealing a heart and chasing Hahn away but anyway I don’t know what that has to do with Hahn because Callie was a little beside herself anyway…”

Bailey raised an eyebrow, ”Should I understand what you’re talking about?” “Probably not, no. But hey….”, began but came to a stop as Christina rushed out of the hospital and towards Bailey.

”You know something, there’s nothing in this hospital you don’t know about because you know everything. Where is she Dr. Bailey, please you have to help me?! I even work in the clinic, but please help me?!”, Christina was pleading now and Bailey wasn’t used to that behaviour from Christina normally she’s demanding not begging.

She saw the distress on Christinas face and Marks worried expression as he came out of the hospital entrance. “Her locker is empty, no surgeries planed or the future, and that’s just so not like Callie. Have you heard anything Bailey?”, Mark asked in a sincere tone.

”I’ve heard that she left. That she gave her letter of resignation to the chiefs secretary yesterday but haven’t seen her for two and a half days.” “Maybe you have heard where she went from here, any idea?”, Christina asked. “No nothing, but to tell you the truth I understand why she had to get away from here. Dr. Stevens slept with her husband, it was a mistake but a big one and I saw her shatter, and there was Hahn she picked Dr. Torres up and put her back together. They were good together, more than good together but Dr. Torres herself wrecked that up and didn’t put it back together.”

”It wasn’t Callies fault, it was Izzies fault. Izzie stole the heart from Dr. Hahns patient,” Mark told Bailey. “Yeah, but at the end Dr. Torres defended the chiefs decision about the situation with Dr. Stevens.” Silence filled the air. “But I’ve seen her the past few weeks, and it’s true she wasn’t herself anymore. I knew they were more than best friends because every single time Hahn had a surgery she was there and observing. Dr. Torres screwed up big time. I don’t know were she went, to tell you the truth I hope she went after Dr. Hahn because it would be good for her.”

”Is that something like the bigger picture?”, Mark asked mockingly. “Yeah, it is Dr. Sloan. So what, someone should have shoved some sense into her earlier.”

”Do you really think she went after Hahn?”, Christina asked hopefully. “I hope so, but Dr. Hahn disappeared and nobody knows where she is.” “Do you think Callie would go to Addison?”, Mark asked in a hopeful tone.

”Maybe it would be good for her, to just relax but she should not hide from reality, from her life. Go call Dr. Montgomery. I’m sure you are late enough to go home,” and with that she turned around and walked towards her car.

”So what now?”, Mark asked with a worried expression on his face. Christina punched him on his shoulder, “Stupid question, call Montgomery.” “Stop that, sure I will let’s go inside it’s freezing out here.”

~~~
All three of them went inside but Lexie spoke up before she could took seat, “I…I think I should go now. It isn’t my place to be here because you two are her friends.” “I’m not her friend!”, Christina denied vehemently.
”Sure you are, because I haven’t seen you so out of place before. No matter how hard you deny it now. You were her friend still are her friend. I hope you’ll find her. Goodnight Dr. Yang, Dr. Sloan,” and with that Lexie stepped out of the hospital and into the cold night.
”She’s right you know, I haven’t seen you like this with anyone, not even Grey. You are her friend.” Christina thought about it, “It’s true, but still I have no idea where she went I don’t know anything about her.”
Mark let out a sigh, “I know, me neither and that’s why we call Addison because apart from Hahn Addison could give us a hint on her whereabouts.”
He reached into his jacket pocket, fished out his phone and dialled Addisons number. “And, did she pick up?”, asked Christina pacing in front of him. “Wait it’s still ringing.”
”Hello?”, he heard a sleepy voice on the other end. “ Addison, hey it’s Mark.” “Dr. Sloan, how do I get the honour at this hour?” “It’s about Callie Addison she vanished.”
”What?”, Addison was wide awake now, “What happened that she disappear like that. And why do you even call me, ask Erica, I’m sure that she knows where Callie is so stop bothering me and let me get back to….”
”Erica disappeared too.” “What do you mean she disappeared too,” Addison asked disbelievingly. “What is there to not understand.” “Erica is not like someone who just vanishes. Mark there must be something else.”
Mark sighed, “ There is a lot you don’t know yet. Callie screwed up with Erica, they were together, sort of, and at the end they had a big fight and Erica left her standing in front of the hospital and was never seen.” “Mark? What is it you don’t tell me?”
”She cheated on her, but they talked and they were good again but then Erica found out about Stevens and Denny. Erica had an argument with the chief about that and that he should have fired Stevens and after that she had an argument with Callie about that and how the chief handled this and Callie made a stupid move and defended them. So I think Erica got angrier and said things to Callie that were hurting. And then the next day she didn’t come back and no one heard anything from her.”
”And I think Callie just then realised what she lost, am I right?”, Addison mused. “Yes, and now she’s missing.” “Let me see to it Mark I’ll see what I can do and call you back, bye”, with that Addison disconnected the call and Mark looked up to see Christina still pacing in front of him.
”So, what now, we sit and wait? Just like that there must be more we can do?”, Christina asked with a panicked stricken voice. “Tonight that’s all we can do, go home Yang, Addison will call as soon as she knows something.”
”What if something happened to her, what if she’s lying somewhere hurt?” “Don’t panic Yang, it’s too late already and the police will not write a report about that because we’re not family. But I think we should search for Hahn too.”
”Why, she’s the reason Callie’s gone missing after all. It doesn’t matter to me where Hahn is at the moment.” “But maybe they are together, maybe Callie’s with Hahn.”
”But what is when she’s not with her, where is she?” “I don’t know” “WHERE SLOAN,” Christina was now hysterical and stormed out of the hospital.
”I really don’t know,” Mark murmured to himself as he watched Christinas retreating form.
